What is BK-2C-B HCL?
Bk-2C-B is a phenethylamine substitute. It has methoxy substituents at R2 and R5, and bromine at R4. The functional amine group attached to the alpha () carbon contains a ketone group at the beta () position, giving rise to the name and implying that it is the structural equivalent of 2C-B. Because of the ketone functional group, it is frequently referred to as a substituted cathinone.
Several 2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamines have a position four aromatic ring replaced. It is a cathinone analog of the chemical 2C-B (2,5-dimethoxy-4-bromophenethylamine), which was developed by Alexander Shulgin.
